Phase 1: Concept

At this stage you may have been approached by a client who wants to renovate or build, whether it is commercial, residential, heritage or maintenance work.

Phase 2: Design

At this stage of the process the concept plans and details will have been agreed.

Phase 3: Preconstruction

It is likely that Building Consent has been approved by Council at this stage and you are now preparing the project team for an imminent start on site.

Phase 4: Construction

At this stage building has commenced on site and the project is up and running.

Phase 5: Post Construction

At this stage the final touches are being applied to the project and the contractor may be in the process of preparing their final claim.

Phase 6: Dispute Resolution

The project may have been completed for some time and you have been made aware that there are some defects that are causing damage to the property.
